For employment candidates, we may also gather other information including first and last name, email, home address and other standard information associated with seeking employment. Personal Information includes: (1) contact data (such as e-mail address, telephone number and employer); (2) demographic data (such as Location Data, as defined below); and (3) certain Usage Data (defined below), such as IP address
Certain Personal Information, such as information about personal health or finances, is characterized as Sensitive and subject to stricter regulation than other personal information. Before providing it to use, we urge you to carefully consider whether to disclose your Sensitive Personal Information to us. If you do provide Sensitive Personal Information to us, you consent to its use and disclosure for the purposes and in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.
“Usage Data”—information about an individual’s online activity that, by itself, does not identify the individual, such as:

From You. We collect information from you when you:
- Use the Services. We collect Personal Information from you when you use the Contact Us Form, submit a newsletter signup, or make a submission as a candidate for employment.
- Connect with social media though the Services. The Services may offer you the ability to use Facebook or other social media services (collectively, “social media”). When you access the Services through your Facebook or other Social Media account, the Services may, depending on your privacy settings, have access to information that you have provided to the Social Media platform. Information Storage and Security
We retain information as long as it is necessary and relevant for our operations. We also retain Personal Information to comply with applicable law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigation and other actions permitted by law. After it is no longer necessary for us to retain information, we dispose of it according to our data retention and deletion policies.
We employ industry-standard security measures designed to protect the security of all information submitted through the Services. However, the security of information transmitted through the internet can never be guaranteed. We are not responsible for any interception or interruption of any communications through the internet or for changes to or losses of data. Disclaimer: Not Child-Directed
The Services are not intended for use by children. If you are under the age of majority in your place of residence, you may use the Services only with the consent of or under the supervision of your parent or legal guardian.
Consistent with the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we learn that we have received any information directly from a child under age 13 without first receiving his or her parent’s verified consent, we will use that information only to respond directly to that child (or his or her parent or legal guardian) to inform the child that he or she cannot use the Services and subsequently we will delete that information.

The purpose of this California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Notice at Collection and privacy policy (together, “California Privacy Policy”) is to provide timely notice, at or before the point of collection, to California residents, describing our information practices and the rights of such California Residents described below regarding their Personal Information. This California Privacy Policy applies to World Energy, LLC and its affiliated companies (“World Energy” or we/us).
This California Privacy Policy applies to individuals associated with corporations, partnerships, other non-individual clients, and other non-client individuals who are California residents and whose personal information we collect (“California Residents”). This California Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with any other privacy notices you receive from World Energy.

This California Privacy Policy provides instructions for how California Residents can exercise their rights. Our Privacy Policy further describe our policies and practices.

Consumer Personal Information Rights

Right to Know/Access
California Residents have the right to request that we disclose the Personal Information that we have collected, Sold or Shared about a California Resident, subject to certain exceptions, during the prior 12 months from the date the request is received, including:

- specific pieces of Personal Information collected
- categories of sources from which Personal Information was collected
- business purposes for collecting Personal Information

To protect certain sensitive types of Personal Information, such as Social Security numbers, we will inform you if we have collected these data elements during the applicable 12-month period but will not include it in the report.
Right to Deletion

Shine the Light Act
If you are a California resident, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request information regarding the disclosure of your personal information by certain members of World Energy to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose Personal Information to third parties in exchange for money. However, under the CCPA, we may Sell or Share the following categories of Personal Information: identifiers, profiles and inferences, and internet or other electronic network activity information to third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, and social networks for purposes of marketing and advertising.
We do not Sell or Share Sensitive Personal Information, nor do we Sell or Share any Personal Information about individuals who we know are under sixteen (16) years old.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
We do not engage in uses or disclosures of “Sensitive Personal Information” that would trigger the right to limit use of Sensitive Personal Information under the CCPA.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of the rights described in this section.

If you have Power of Attorney for a California Residents and would like to submit a request on behalf of a California Residents, please send proof of your Power of Attorney designation along with the completed form found at the above link to info@worldenergy.net, Website Administrator.
We may deny a request from Authorized Agents who do not verify their own identity or submit proof that they have been authorized by you. However, such requirements will not apply where you have provided the Authorized Agent with Power of Attorney under Cal. Prob. Code Sections 4000 to 4465.
Retention of Personal Information
We retain your Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the transactions you have requested or legitimate business purposes, such as complying with our legal obligations, including United States federal, state, and local laws.
