China May Further Restrict Foreign Investment

China may extend restrictions on foreign investment in the oilseed processing sector to other crops to bolster control over its own food security, a government planning official said Friday.

China has been seeking to increase regulations on overseas-owned soybean processors due to overcapacity in the local market.
