French Rapeseed Planting To Drop

According to a USDA report, French rapeseed acreage in 2008 is forecast to decline by 10%. At the same time, biodiesel production capacity and oilseed crushing capacity is to expand.

As a result, more biodiesel produced in France is expected to be processed from imported feedstock, such as rapeseed oil, soybean oil, and palm oil.
