Petrobras expects to produce 248 million gallons of biodiesel per year by 2012, according to the company president.
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva participated in the opening of Petrobras' first 15 million gallon biodiesel plant this week. In August, Petrobras says it will begin production at two other plants.
