Peru to Increase Biodiesel Imports

Peru's state-owned energy firm, Petroperu, may start importing 650 barrels of biodiesel per day to comply with new fuel requirements next year, Reuters reports.
Peru is not a major biofuels producer and without imports would likely be unable to comply with the mandate. Bidding could open in October.
