Municipal Waste Biodiesel Plant Planned in Nebraska

Plans to build a commercial-scale production facilities to convert municipal solid waste into ethanol have been unveiled by Fulcrum BioEnergy.
When it begins operations in early 2010, the company’s Sierra BioFuels plant in Nevada will produce about 10.5 million gallons of ethanol per year, processing nearly 90,000 tons of municipal solid waste annually.
