Argentina Changes Soy Export Tax

The Argentine government on Thursday modified its soy export tax system to increase eligibility for small soy producers to receive export tax rebates and lower the tax rate when soy prices rise above $600 a ton, a level far above current prices.
However, farm leaders said the changes did not go far enough and will continue their strike until Monday.
