Canada to Invest $25 Million in Phillippine Biofuels

Canadian-based biodiesel company Green Corporation, in collaboration with the Canadian government, is planning to invest $25 million to deploy 100 village-level biodiesel processing facilities to coconut-producing areas in the Philippines.
The project aims to produce 264 gallons per day of coconut methyl ester per unit, employing 5,000 families and 100 farmers organizations and cooperatives for two years.
