US Firm To Build 1000 Biofuel Fueling Stations

03.20.08

Delaware-based Alternative Fuel Distributors, Inc (AFD) says it plans to build and operate 1,000 ‘Go Green Station’ convenience stores providing E-85 and biodiesel along the east coast of the US over the next three years.

AFD plans to be one of the largest wholesale distributors of biodiesel products in the US and will focus on selling biodiesel fuel to fleet operators, school districts, municipalities, and home heating companies. The company will supply its initial 100 stations from alternative fuel terminals in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

The firm will file a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of up to 2,000,000 of its Class A membership units to fund the program.
