The Energy Information Administration has revised upward its price forecast for regular grade gasoline average retail prices during the second quarter to $3.45 per gallon.
EIA sees retail gasoline prices peaking at an average of about $3.50 per gallon this spring. due to higher costs for crude oil, adding that it is possible that prices during part of a month, or in some region or at some stations, could cross the $4 per gallon threshold.
