Melbourne-based biofuel development company Agri Energy halted trading in its shares after the collapse of its efforts to obtain US financing.
The company halted its plans for ethanol plants in Swan Hill and Murtoa, Victoria due to lack of government support and a poor outlook for feedstock and biofuel prices.
In January, the company divested its US biodiesel assets for $42.5 million.
