MAJORITY SPANISH BIODIESEL PLANTS OPERATING UNDER 10% CAPACITY

Spanish Renewable Energy Association APPA stated that 75% of the 46 domestic biodiesel plants operate at rates of 10% or lower, claiming that the sector is suffering from imports from Argentina.
The market share of biodiesel imports in Q1 2010 was 60%, up from 51% in the preceding year, of which 61% came from Argentina.
