Argentina Farmers Threaten To Strike Over Export Taxes

In Argentina, Cabinet Chief Aníbal Fernández criticized the decision of the farmers' liaison board to start a grain and meat strike announced yesterday due to the veto of the Farming Emergency Law that granted tax exemptions to farmers hit by droughts.
Farmers announced they would start an eight-day sales boycott this Friday, and also plan a series of protests in the upcoming days.
