Brazil Soy Crush Estimate Revised Downward

This week, the Brazilian Vegetable Oils Industry Association revised downward the country’s 2008-2009 soy crush estimate to 30.9 million mt from 31.6 million mt.
Brazil is also forecast to produce 57.3 million mt of soybeans from the 2008-09 crop, down from the Association’s last estimate of 57.4 million mt on July 4.
