Greenhunter Shares Surge

Texas-based Greenhunter Energy's shares surged 62% to close at $1.86 on Tuesday with shares rising to $2.15 in after-hours trading.
According to an analyst, daily average volume has been 100,000 shares recently, but 1.6 million shares changed hands Tuesday.
Last week, Greenhunter received notice from NYSE Amex that its stock was not meeting listing requirements.
