Global energy consumption is expected to climb 44% over the next two decades, EIA reported Wednesday in its International Energy Outlook.
The forecast also predicts that in 2030 renewable energy will be the fastest growing energy source, making up 11% of global energy supplies, with biofuels reaching 5.9 million bpd by 2030.
