Petrotec Resumes Biodiesel Production
01.07.08
German biodiesel manufacturer, Petrotec, is restarting biodiesel production in January 2008, following a halt in production.
“Sales prices for 2008 have recovered somewhat compared with the very low level of recent months,” Petrotec's CEO Roger Boeing said. “Petrotec has broadened its client base in the blending market and also developed new clients.”
Petrotec's existing biodiesel plant in Südlohn-Oeding has an annual capacity of 85,000 mt. Its new plant in Emden's deep-sea port, expected to come online in April 2008, will have a capacity of 100,000 mt a year.
