Founder, President, and CEO Gene Gebolys
Gene Gebolys has guided World Energy to be a global leader in biodiesel. A champion of biodiesel in the U.S. and internationally, he has provided continuing leadership to the National Biodiesel Board since 1996, serving on its governing council and as Chair of its Regulatory Committee. Mr. Gebolys holds degrees from Harvard University and Ohio State University in Economics, Business Management, and Public Policy.

General Counsel Walter Foskett
Walter Foskett has provided legal advice to World Energy since the company’s inception. He is a specialist in energy and public utility law, and has advised major electric utilities and their subsidiaries. Mr. Foskett received a BA from Boston College, a MBA from Babson College, and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.

Chief Financial Officer Michael Laznik
Michael Laznik joined World Energy from FTI Consulting where he directed Corporate Finance. At Mesirow Financial, he advised companies on business valuation, performance, and raising capital. At the Economics Resource Group, he worked with petroleum, gas, and electric utility clients. Mr. Laznik holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and a MBA from Brandeis University.

Vice President, Supply Michael Szady
Mike Szady has more than 10 years experience in the chemical industry, including sales and marketing at Dow Haltermann, and research and development at Lyondell Chemical. Dr. Sazdy has a BS from Princeton University, and a MS and PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
